Coastal Turf Christmas Party

Well the Turf Farmers that Grass Together Party Together. On Christmas Eve we had a little BBQ to wish the Christmas cheer to start early. And to mark the occasion it Rained, and then Rained and rained. What a wet Christmas we had here, and  we did get pretty much water logged again.

But we did have a great Christmas with our annual water fight just a lot wetter than usual and a lot slower for me. My kids put me in a wheel chair and used me as a tank to wet people. I think it shows love on their part?

But now Coastal Turf is right back into it with only New Years Day Holiday off from now on. So if you need to turf that mud in time for New Years (hopefully dry) celebration let us know so we can get the turf to you as soon as possible. So lets all go and do the Anti-rain dance for new years and party on on our lovely soft (if but a little wet underfoot) grass.

Merry Christmas

Well Merry Christmas to all!!! I hope that all your Christmas hopes come true.

Mine will be a little twisted this year as I have broken my foot. I went to the bin and missed the step. Very embarrassing, especially since everyone in the street saw me. My husband is slightly devastated as this means that now he HAS to drive to everything. I am sick of having crutches, but the kids think its great. The 2 year old is much faster than me now.

The Coastal Turf Team just thinks its funny. Yes it is to some extent but funnier on them later when they say “Can you just cut some turf with me?” Hahaha No! Can’t even drive. Lucky the boys are still all good.

Have a lovely fun Safe Christmas cause believe me you don’t want to be on Crutches. I will put some lovely Coastal Turf Christmas party pics of the team up soon, and of course of my lovely children.

Lots of Christmas wishes

Weeks before Christmas

Well only 2 weeks until Christmas and as usual at my house my kids got sick. So i haven’t really been thinking about turf really , which is why it is great that I am part of such a wonderful team. Without whom I would be lost. Dad and Micheal kept the farm and deliveries flowing and Barbara made sure all your phone calls were answered. But I know they missed me.

This week also had both my children graduating! Well from Preschool to Infants and Infants into primary school. Still all very proud mother moments.

The boys did ask me to put on to remind everyone to watch their turf for signs of fungus. after all this rain fungus can invade especially with the heat and wet being perfect conditions for fungus grow. If you start to see any dead spots give us a call. Also lawn grub season is starting so why not give the lawn grub page a quick read over.

Christmas is fast approaching and maybe the perfect gift for your loved ones is a Coastal Turf Voucher. There is no more permanent present and reminder of love than a beautiful green soft lawn that you can see use and love everyday.

Well hopefully everyone else is well and ready for christmas.

Christmas Rush

Well it’s that time of year again when we are all getting set for all our family and friends to join us at our homes to enjoy Christmas together. And it’s lovely to have a beautiful lawn to play on during those great Christmas holidays. And this rain is a great boost for Christmas grass, giving your lawn a great big drink to start its life.

By installing your lawn now it will be fully developed by Christmas and all ready for that great traditional games that are played at Christmas. I don’t know about your house but ere we have back yard Cricket where everyone gets a bat, no matter how bad you are, and if you hit it too far for the dogs to go get it your out. Our youngest player is 2 and oldest 66, (but don’t tell him i put his age on the web) so everyone gets a turn. This game always spirals down to the more important water fight, and you can’t play water fights on dirt, so a nice soft grass under your feet is best for our Christmas’. So we don’t really were our Sunday best after lunch at our Christmas’ but easy to run in clothes.

Christmas cheer
